First gtade pic from Beach School, I believe that Mari Ann is in the front row 3rd from the left. That is how long I have known Mari Ann. Even though, while growing up, I did not know Mari Ann well we did catchup a little towards the end. She always seemed positive and open and still I missed the opportunity to know her well. With the passing of each classmate it seems as if parts of our lives are falling away. I will grieve for Mari Ann and the loss for all who cared for her. Thinking of her in the beginning.
Mari Ann (Prieb) was my friend, always a smile and a good word. I remember all night monopoly games, slumber parties and when we turned 16 riding in cars. I want to tell her family I am sorry and really feel the loss. The last time I talked to Prieb, she was in pain, I know she is in heaven laughing with the angles. God bless her and her family.
I didn't go to grade school with Mari Ann, and didn't know her well in high school. Unfortunately, a missed opportunity. What I do remember is laughter, lots of feel-good laughter. What a gift she gave us. John has it right: pieces of our lives are falling away. Condolences to her family.
