Susan and I were good friends in high school and beyond, in each others weddings, visiting each other wherever we lived, getting children together etc.   She was masterful at redoing old houses and we shared our interest in antiques.  As our kids got older and jobs got busier we saw each other less and less.  Susan suffered a stroke in 2005, and did ok until the last year.  I've been in contact with her daughters and have shared some great memories.    Connie

So sorry to hear about Susan's passing. We weren't close in high school except in home room, where I spent four years sandwiched alphabetically between Dodson and Dregalla. Susan was a sweet, friendly lady with a great sense of humor and a quick smile. I wish I had known her better then and in the years since. I will remember her fondly.

I remember Sue from Beach.  When you were put in a class at Beach, you stayed in that same group of classmates all the way through 6th grade, so you really knew the kids in your classroom best, and the others in your grade, not so much.  Sue was in my class and my best memories are in her old house on Wagar just south of the high school.  Her house was finally taken by the state when we were in junior high I think, for the 1 90 freeway.  We would walk home from Beach to her house and hang out up in her room.  When my younger son lived in Cincinnati in 2004 I was able to get in touch with her and visit for an afternoon.  So sorry to learn of her passing.

I am so sorry to hear about Sue's passing.  We lived near each other and with Connie Denam we traveled to high school each day.  We were also in the same girl scout troop.  I have not seen Sue in years and lost contact with her while in college.  I extend my sympathy to her sisters and rest of her family...Lynne "Astle" Campean
